Condobolin staff at the Initial LTLL meeting 15-16th March, 2011
And so begins our journey ....
At the LTLL Workshop in March our staff identified three areas within Focus 6: Authentic Learning to further develop:
Assessment FOR and AS learning; Standards for learning; Student engagement;
Upon returning to school and with more staff discussions, we decided our task was too large. We wanted to keep the journey achievable and thus transforming!
It was therefore decided that we would continue with these three areas but only apply them to the English Strand of Writing (an area that all staff agreed needed some improvement).
To achieve our Action Plan and to keep LTLL real and present, it was decided that our weekly staff meetings would need to be restructured, with an LTLL focus every second week. It was also decided that Professional Reading and Learning Stories would happen every other week (promoting Educative Leadership and Authentic Learning).
Congratulations to the Condobolin team for their fabulous midpoint presentations. The following is a summary of the affirmations and generative questions from the feedback.
